I made a 3D-printed statue of my dog interactive using NFC tags + Figma Make

My first design project came to life when I was studying for my radiation therapy board exams and was frustrated at the lack of resources there were for students. Although there was an abundance of material for other healthcare professionals (like nursing or practitioners) there was a clear gap for radiation therapy students.

I began to design 3fieldbox as a study app that learners would be able to use on the go, consequently giving users the option to review a question anytime and anywhere. By leveraging the accessibility and flexibility of mobile devices, having my product as an app would allow students to access information and course content from any place at any time. I also wanted to encourage active recall studying by designing the app as a quiz game so learners can be more engaged in the content, while still being able to review major concepts in radiation therapy.
